CHARLES COLLNS (1680 – 1744) - Entitled " Waiting for the Ferry", this early oil on panel bears the artists name on the reverse. The back in heavily reinforced in the early English style to prevent the panel from warping in the humid English climate. It measures 12 1/2" x 9 1/2" in modern frame. There are a few minor abrasions on the face of the panel. Collins has auction results to $140,000.

Nicolaes Berchem (1620 – 1683) – Entitled “ CROSSING THE FORD”, This work dates to 1650 and is the work of famous Dutch Artist, Nicolaes Berchem The image measures 15” x 20” and has had professional restoration including a strong back board to keep the panel from warping. Berchem has auctioned to over $1,500,000.

HIPPOLYTE DELPHY (1842 – 1910) - This well listed French artist has high auctions of over $80,000. Born in the Joigny France in 1842, the artist is noted for paintings of the Barbizon school. Delphy was a very prolific artist and his works represent great investment value. The oil on canvass measures 11" x 15" and is in stable condition.

JAMES GALE TYLER (1855-1931) - James Tyler is famous for his nocturnal marine paintings. This oil on canvass is typical of his most desirable works. It measures 17 1/2" 11 1/2" in a modern frame. The oil is stable and has been professionally cleaned.

James Lee Colt (1922 - 2005) - This oil on canvas laid board measures 20" x 24" and is in superb condition. His early years were spent in San Jacinto, California and in Arizona near the San Carlos Apache Indian Reservation. He attributes his concentration on the 1870 era in his western paintings to his family history. His great grandfather was in the cavalry in the Civil War. Colt's style of painting is best described as Semi-Abstract Impressionism.
